Writing to survive the trump administration. Episode 46: I guess we don’t need to know the price…

When I first posted six weeks ago, the price of 18 eggs here in Portland was $8.89. A  month ago, it was up to $11.19. Well, here’s the current check-in: THERE IS NO PRICE.

I guess I could have asked an employee, or taken my chances and put some eggs in my cart to see what happened. But there were literally no prices listed anywhere on the egg racks, just this very helpful sign.

Are these times we’re living in even real?
