Surviving the trump administration, A Daily Thread. Episode 36: New Moon in Pisces
Today, there is a New Moon in Pisces. The message I’m synthesizing from a few of my favorite sources (listed at the end) is that when we allow the needed endings to happen, we will have the space to build something new, that serves us individually and collectively in ways we might not even be able to imagine just yet.
Pisces is a fish, who lives in the emotional, flowing, liminal space of water (like the womb!). In this space, we can recognize how to move from the ending to the new beginning. We can release old storylines so that we can move beyond the (personal and collective) systems and structures that don’t work anymore. And we can look inside ourselves to see the wisdom and creativity and unique skills we bring to the process.
White supremacist capitalist patriarchy is in its death throes – that’s why its advocates are doubling down on it right now. We will collectively release it and move forward to build something brand new; I don’t know how long it will take or what we will have to go through first, but that is what we are doing and will continue to do.
Fascism will not win. Hate will not win. Small mindedness will not win. Love and expansion and connection are the Ultimate Truth that we are embracing with Pisces and this New Moon.
